InfluenceMap was not able to find its position on Paris Agreement.
Engagement with Climate-Related Regulations: JIVA appears to have limited engagement with climate-related regulations in Japan. Position on Energy Transition: JIVA appears to have limited engagement on the energy transition, taking broadly supportive positions. In the presentation given to the committee held by Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (METI), the entity suggests the supports the long-term role for the internal combustion engine powered by methane over the rapid electrification of transportation. In a position paper published in May 2022, the association requested that the government implement support measures to promote the development and diffusion of decarbonized products.
