Top-line Messaging on Climate Policy: La Poste broadly supported urgent action to combat climate change in its top-line messaging. The company supported France’s Climate and Energy Law to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 on its corporate website, accessed in April 2023. In a joint Climate Group EV100+ members position paper published in October 2023, La Poste’s subsidiary Geopost advocated for ambitious EU CO2 emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles and opposed 'loopholes'. Additionally, in a position paper published in September 2024, Geopost appeared to advocate for measures in the EU to promote energy efficiency and a modal shift to lower carbon forms of transport.
