In the Sustainability Data Book 2021, it recognizes the climate change phenomena and natural disasters caused. On the sustainability website accessed in August 2021, the company shows support towards climate change actions, however it is unclear if it supports the IPCC demanded response to climate change. In June 2020, Seven&i signed a Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) joint statement, supporting UN climate treaty to limit global warming below 1.5℃.
