Top-line Messaging on Sustainable Finance Policy: In its 2021 Climate-Related Disclosure and Environmental Report, Chubb stated support for a global transition to net-zero by 2050. In his 2021 letter to Shareholders, Chubb CEO Evan G. Greenberg stated the risks climate change poses to the insurance sector. In its climate change policy, accessed in February 2023, Chubb cautioned against policy that would limit "the financial service sector's involvement in fossil fuel activity".
